Heath’s journey with Paramount Freightlines showcases dedication, growth, and a deep understanding of the transport and logistics industry. Starting as a warehouse all-rounder after leaving school in Year 10, Heath immersed himself in all facets of the operation. From forklift operations and inventory management to warehouse duties and allocations, he built a solid foundation in transport and distribution.

In 2020, Heath transitioned into a role in allocations, where he expanded his expertise by mastering scheduling systems, industry regulations, NHVAS compliance, and driver rostering. Today, Heath manages a driver pool of 18 employees, skillfully scheduling national freight movements daily.

His hands-on experience and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable part of the Paramount Freightlines team, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently across the country.

Sarah started her transport career at Toll Contract Logistics as a Transport Supervisor, managing the $23 million Woolworths Distribution Centre contract. This role included overseeing the distribution of ambient, fresh, and frozen products to Woolworths stores in the ACT and Southern NSW. Within her first year, Sarah was promoted to the dual role of Transport Supervisor and Acting Operations Manager, supervising a team of 7 office staff, 4-yard foremen, 27 company drivers, and around 120 subcontractor drivers. Her responsibilities spanned operational and financial management at the Wodonga site, covering supervision, maintenance, administration, OH&S, and human resources.

Following a break to raise her children, Sarah returned in 2015 to the family transport business, managing a fleet of over 30 B-double tautliners. She handled accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and compliance.

In 2021, she moved to a local transport company specializing in tautliners and open trailers, enhancing her industry knowledge and professional network. She gained expertise in managing shipping logistics, including importing, and exporting containers, coordinating with wharf availability, and meeting customs and quarantine requirements. During this time, she also managed a small team of B-double tautliners.
In late 2022, Sarah joined another local transport company, where she successfully expanded a fleet of open trailers from 12 to over 25 and secured a major contract to supply reinforced concrete panels for road upgrades across Australia.

As of early 2024, Sarah is part of the Paramount team, leveraging her extensive experience to support the company’s growth. She oversees open trailers and project work while assisting with tautliner operations. Additionally, she collaborates with Blake to gain insights into all business facets, including payroll, compliance, and daily operations essential for a successful transport company.
